Member Spotlight: Twelve Weeks in Cleburne

Pradeep Yellapu, familiar to the lab community for the YieldWatch crop-intelligence work he presented at the inaugural AIM Symposium, has taken on a new challenge well beyond the satellite earth observation domain. Pradeep has joined Jeevy Fabrication as Lead Product Designer & Systems Architect, based at the company's heavy-manufacturing hangar in Cleburne, Texas.
He’s designed and built Jeevy OS, an integrated industrial operating system for facilities that fabricate multi-ton cryogenic process skids and ground support infrastructure for commercial orbital launch programs. Over a twelve-week solo sprint, he architected the platform to connect the parts of a fabrication shop that usually live in separate silos, including shop-floor execution, an immutable ledger for procurement and accounting, blueprint and CAD management, and critical-path Gantt scheduling into a single closed loop.
Rather than starting in software, Pradeep spent his first weeks interviewing welders and operations leads, then built the system around one non-negotiable resolve: steel dictates the schedule, with verified material delivery dates driving what work can be scheduled when.
This project is a striking demonstration of the same systems thinking Pradeep brought to his geospatial work at the lab, applied to a very different frontier, and a reminder of the range of places our members go on to make an impact.
